About Gabby

For more than 30 years, I have refined my craft, learning to tailor each assignment to the style that moves readers to emotion -- and action.photo1

I began in print journalism, learned to write literary prose in graduate school, applied my knowledge as an English professor in the Big Ten, cut my teeth on web content while working for clients like eToys, Nissan, Overture, Yahoo, Encarta, and the Microsoft Network. I continue to refine my craft, day by day.

I have published thousands of online and print magazine articles, news and feature stories, literary essays, travel pieces, film and music reviews, children's stories, poetry, interviews, a book of short fiction, and several one-act plays. I hold a master's of fine arts degree in creative writing, an undergraduate degree with honors in English, and a degree in journalism-linguistics.
